House District 94 is located in central Indianapolis within Marion County, including portions of Pike Township. This is one of the safest Democratic seats in the Indiana House. No Republican filed for 2026, and the Republican primary was canceled. The winner of the Democratic primary on May 5 will represent the district without opposition in November.

Cherrish Pryor is one of the most experienced legislators in the Indiana House, serving since 2008. She serves as Democratic Floor Leader -- the first African American to hold that position -- and sits on Ways and Means, Elections and Apportionment, and Utilities committees. Her most significant recent legislation is HB 1114, which prohibits "fail first" protocols for advanced cancer patients. Her awards include the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Biden and the 2023 NBCSL Legislator of the Year.

Andre Sisk Sr. is a real estate agent with Carpenter Realtors. Beyond his filing, publicly available details about his campaign platform and policy positions are extremely limited. Without a visible platform or campaign apparatus, it is difficult to identify what alternative vision he is offering. Pryor enters as the overwhelming favorite.
